How SMS texting works on MovementAtlas, including messages from us and from the instructors and studios you book with, and how to opt out at any time.

These SMS Texting Terms govern the text messages you may receive in connection with MovementAtlas (movementatlas.com), together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. They cover two kinds of messages: those sent by MovementAtlas, and those sent by the instructors and studios you book with through the platform.
Messages from MovementAtlas
If you provide your mobile number and turn on SMS, you agree that MovementAtlas may text you to service your account and bookings — for example verification codes, booking confirmations, class and appointment reminders, and replies to support requests you start. We send marketing texts only with your separate consent, and consent to receive texts is never a condition of buying or using MovementAtlas.
Messages from instructors and studios
When you book with an instructor or studio through MovementAtlas, you may receive texts from them about your booking, such as schedule changes or reminders. In that case the instructor or studio is the sender, not MovementAtlas, even though they use our platform to send the message. They may send marketing texts only where they have your consent.
Message frequency
After you opt in you may receive an initial confirmation text. After that, how many texts you receive varies based on your account activity and your bookings.
How to opt out
You can opt out at any time by replying STOP (or END or QUIT) to any text; we will send one message confirming you have been unsubscribed. Opting out of one program stops only that program. You can also turn SMS off in Account Settings → Notification Preferences.

Fees and data rates
MovementAtlas does not charge for these texts, but message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan. By opting in you accept any such charges from your mobile carrier.
Eligibility
You must be 18 or older and the owner or an authorized user of the mobile number you provide. MovementAtlas accounts are 18+.
Disclaimers
SMS is delivered over wireless carrier networks. Neither MovementAtlas nor the mobile carriers (such as T-Mobile) are liable for delayed or undelivered messages. The SMS texting service is provided on an as-is basis.
Changes to these terms
We may update these SMS Texting Terms from time to time. Changes are effective when posted, and your continued enrollment in SMS means you accept them.
