AI Policy
Last Updated: February 18, 2026
At Movement Atlas ("we", "us", "our"), we recognize the value in leveraging artificial intelligence ("AI") in our platform and services; however, we also believe that AI is a feature of our services and not a replacement for them. This AI Policy provides guidance and rules for the responsible use of AI so that everyone with access to our platform can benefit from AI capabilities without harming individuals, businesses, society, or violating any laws.
Movement Atlas may update this AI Policy at any time by posting a new version on our website.
AI Ethical Principles
Movement Atlas recognizes the ethical implications of using AI in our platform. To ensure that we use AI for the benefit of our users, instructors, businesses, and society as a whole, we adhere to the following principles:
- Transparency: Our AI tools, features, and use of AI will be transparent. We will inform our users about how we use AI and the data we use to power AI models. Movement Atlas will disclose the third-party providers it uses for AI tools and features upon reasonable request.
- Fairness: We will regularly evaluate and audit our AI tools and features to identify and address any biases that may arise in AI-generated outputs.
- Human Oversight: We ensure that human oversight is always present in the decision-making process. Users retain the ability to override any decisions or suggestions made by our AI tools and features.
- Privacy: We respect the privacy of all users and ensure that data collected is used only for legitimate purposes and in compliance with all legal confidentiality obligations. Movement Atlas uses established enterprise-grade LLMs that do not use user data for training purposes.
Use of Data
Movement Atlas does not use raw data obtained from users, instructors, or businesses to train any AI models. We ensure that our agreements with third-party AI technology providers also prohibit the use of user data for training AI models. We may create aggregated and anonymized datasets for analytics and product improvement purposes, but we ensure such data does not identify any individual users or their confidential information.
AI Decision-Making Principles
Movement Atlas is committed to making decisions about the use of AI that are responsible, ethical, and aligned with our values:
- Human-Centered: We prioritize the needs and well-being of our users over the potential benefits of using AI.
- Social Responsibility: We consider the impact of our AI tools on society, ensuring they do not harm individuals or communities.
- Continuous Improvement: We continually evaluate and improve our AI tools to ensure they align with our values and meet user needs.
- Transparency: We are transparent about our decision-making process and communicate openly about how and why we use AI.
